Forty-two paintings in tempera and oil, as well as several drawings were exhibited by the artist in November '72. Mr. Efstathios Lagakos, the Ambassador of Greece in Cyprus, inaugurated the exhibition, emphasizing on how drawn he is to the artist’s work and how it moves him dearly. Journalist Andros Pavlides mentions that Ioannides is the painter of ‘Light and Poetry’. Seascapes are presented for the first time at this artist’s exhibition.
